Make books
Collect all four suits of a rank. Those four cards become a public
book. The player with the most books wins.
Ask
Choose an opponent and a rank already in your hand. If they have it,
every card of that rank moves to you and you ask again.
Go Fish
If they have none, draw from the pond. Drawing the rank you asked
for is a lucky catch and you ask again; otherwise play passes.
Fresh hands
If your hand empties while the pond has cards, draw back up to seven
cards in a two-player game, or five with three or four players.
Modes
Classic is the full game. Quick remembers speedy setup. Tournament
follows five increasingly tricky stages. Timed stops after 3, 5, or
10 minutes. Challenges have fixed objectives.
Helpers
Hints use only public clues. Learning Mode enlarges cards, slows
play, explains choices, and never changes the rules.
Keyboard
Arrow keys choose ranks and opponents. Enter or Space asks. H hints,
P or Escape pauses, R restarts, 1/2/4 changes speed, M toggles
music, and V toggles speech.
