Terms of Service
Effective date: July 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this Cloudwork website, its weather information, maps, network tools, converters, generators, account features, and related functionality (collectively, the "Service"). The person or organization operating this deployment is referred to as the "Operator." By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and access
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you satisfy both requirements. The Service is not intended or directed toward anyone under eighteen (18). If the Operator reasonably believes that a user does not meet these eligibility requirements, the Operator may suspend or terminate that user's access without prior notice.
Subject to these Terms, the Operator grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes. Features, limits, and availability may differ between anonymous and registered users.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password and authentication credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Notify the Operator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. The Operator may suspend access to protect the Service, its users, or third parties.
3. Weather and environmental information
Forecasts, observations, alerts, air-quality readings, astronomy details, maps, and marine information may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, or inaccurate. The Service is not an official warning system and must not be your only source for emergency, aviation, marine, medical, agricultural, or other safety-critical decisions. Follow instructions from local authorities and consult official weather services when conditions may affect health or safety.
4. Network and geolocation tools
IP addresses and geolocation results are informational estimates. An IP location may represent a broad region, network gateway, data center, or service provider rather than a device or person. Accuracy-radius values are estimates and do not guarantee that an address is physically present within the displayed area. You may use network tools only for systems and data you own or are authorized to examine.
5. Utility outputs
Conversions, generated values, hashes, formatted data, image operations, and other utility outputs may contain errors or may not be suitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing results, maintaining backups, and testing outputs before relying on them in production, security, financial, legal, or safety-sensitive workflows.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate law or another person's rights; gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data; distribute malware; facilitate fraud, phishing, harassment, or spam; overload or disrupt the Service; bypass security or usage controls; scrape the Service at an unreasonable rate; or misrepresent generated results as verified facts. Legitimate defensive testing and research must remain within the scope of your authorization.
7. User-provided data
You retain your rights in information you submit to the Service. You grant the Operator permission to process that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the Service or comply with law. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or personal information unless you understand how this deployment handles it and have authority to do so.
8. Third-party data and services
The Service may use or link to third-party weather providers, map tiles, geographic databases, libraries, websites, and other services. Their content is controlled by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms, licenses, attribution requirements, and privacy practices. The Operator does not guarantee third-party data or continued access to any third-party service.
9. Ownership
Except for user-provided data and third-party materials, the Service and its original software, interface, branding, and documentation are owned by the Operator or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership or grant permission to use trademarks or branding. Open-source components remain governed by their applicable licenses.
10. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. It may be changed, limited, interrupted, or discontinued without guarantee of notice or uptime. The Operator is not required to preserve utility inputs, generated outputs, cached weather data, or other content. Keep independent copies of anything important.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator and its contributors, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. The Operator may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, legal requirement, service discontinuation, or harm to users or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
The Operator may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. General terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without the Operator's permission. These Terms constitute the agreement between you and the Operator concerning the Service unless another written agreement applies.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to the administrator or Operator of this Cloudwork deployment at info@cloud-work-utilities.com.
